National Historic Site
One hundred and ninety-nine years ago, it was the Americans who invaded Fort York. On Saturday, May 12 it was an invasion of Mississaugans. Our historical society was out in force for a tour of the historic fort, and while there we saw our fellow historians of the Streetsville Historical Society.
We were treated to a personal tour of the grounds and the many buildings. Thank you to our historian, Matthew Wilkinson for picking a day with perfect weather.
