Homeschooling your child is an excellent way to not just educate, but learn with your child. There are many websites online that give you valuable information on how homeschooling works, differences in approach, legalities, so on and so forth.

This site is for the York Region Homeschoolers. It is a place to come and socialize. To build a socialization network in Markham and surrounding areas.

Markham Homeschooling Get-togethers. As a Markham resident and Homeschooler, I am starting a bi-weekly group of homeschoolers to come together at or near my home to have some social time and activities. I am also looking at starting monthly outings and would appreciate some feedback from local homeschoolers as to what they would like to do. My girls are 11 and 13 and as such would prefer to meet with kids about that age group, they are ok with younger ones (7 -8) and older kids too (15 - 18). Please feel free to connect with me.
